Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation: You may cancel an order at any point before approving your proof. Cancelled orders receive a full refund.

After proof approval: Once you approve your proof, production begins and the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Refund processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

Disputes: If you believe there is a production error, contact us within 14 days at orders@parchmentandpearl.com with photographs. We address verified errors on a case-by-case basis.

Custom Goods Policy

Because every piece is custom-produced to your exact specifications, completed orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun. This policy reflects the bespoke nature of our craft — each commission is unique to you.

You may cancel an order and receive a full refund at any point before you approve your proof. Once the proof is approved, production begins and the order is considered final.

Reprint Insurance

For additional peace of mind, we offer optional reprint insurance at checkout.

What It Covers

  • Printing errors (misalignment, ink defects, color deviation from proof)
  • Paper defects (damage, inconsistent stock quality)
  • Shipping damage (crushed, bent, or water-damaged pieces)

What It Does Not Cover

  • Errors present in the approved proof (spelling, dates, names)
  • Changes of mind after proof approval
  • Differences in color perception between screens and printed output

Reporting an Issue

If you receive stationery with a printing or shipping defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will review your case and, if covered by reprint insurance or determined to be a production error, arrange a reprint at no additional cost.

Important Details

  • Reprint insurance is 7% of your order total and must be selected at checkout.
  • Even without reprint insurance, we stand behind our production quality. Verified printing defects attributable to our fulfillment process will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Please review your proof carefully before approving. We are unable to reprint orders for errors that were present in the approved proof.
